Ms. Flecia Evon Brandon, 45, was born in Washington, D. C. on October 6, 1971, and was the daughter of the late Otha Lee Brandon and Rosezetta Stokes Brandon. She passed away at Iredell Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She attended Schools in Washington, D. C. and worked as a Security Guard for many years. She moved to Statesville six years and ago and later united with Visions Outreach Ministries. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Clayton Stokes and one niece, LaQuanda Stokes.
She leaves to remember her life, one brother, Otha Lee Everette of Durham; her aunt, Vehester Dalton of Statesville; three uncles, David (Annie Christine) Stokes, Ted (Shirley) Stokes and Sylvester Stokes, all of Statesville; several cousins including Faye L. (Michael) Houston of Statesville, a special friend, T. Sturdivant, other relatives, church family and friends
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at the Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Pastor James Hunter will officiate. Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, but will assemble at the residence of her aunt, Vehester Dalton, 1128 Rita Avenue, Statesville, at other times.
