Obituary for Isabella Chambers
Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning!
Isabelle Chambers, affectionately called "Belle", was born in Iredell County on June 20, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Earl and Mae Faye Lackey Woods. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, following an extended illness.
She attended the Iredell County Schools and at an early age, she also attended Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. She was employed by Brian Center as a CNA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lewis Woods.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, three sons, Rickey Clinton Chambers and Bobby (Jody) Chambers, both of Statesville and Jeffrey (Annetria) Chambers of Monroe; one daughter, Connie (Robert) White of Statesville; one brother, Herbert Russell Lackey of Statesville; two sisters, Arlene McMillan and Charlene Woods, both of Statesville; a host of grandchildren, Keith Tyrone (Lisa) Chambers of Salisbury, and Adinah (That Boy) Morrison of Statesville; her aunts, Aquilla Freeman and Dorothy Lackey; one uncle, Conway Lackey of Statesville; a host of other relatives and friends.
