Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the Morning!

Mrs. Janie Lou Wilson, passed away at her home on Monday, May 29, 2017, following an extended illness. She was born on July 21, 1945 in Anderson County, S. C. and was the daughter of the late Willie Snow Maddox and Inez Hairston Maddox. She was married to Fred Berry Wilson, who preceded her in death.
She attended Unity High School and while in High School she was a majorette. She also volunteer at various schools while her children were growing up. She was fluent in Spanish. She was added to Highland Acres Church of Christ.
She leaves to remember her life, her children, Madonna Wilson of Columbus, Ohio, Miranda (Wayne) Smith of Statesville, Melissa Caldwell of Mooresville, Maria Russell of Statesville, Sherry Wilson of Statesville, Mark Wilson of Statesville, Frederick Wilson of the home, Freddie Wilson, Jermia Chauncey Teasley, and Matthew (Donna) Wilson, both of Statesville; her brother, Willie Maddox, Jr. of Statesville; a sister-in-law, Delores "Dee" Wilson of Statesville; her grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Laura, Rachel, Adrianna, Italia, Indya, Olivia, Jesenia, Gene, Nariyah, Tayven, Briana, QUan, Kimmy, Kelly, ShiQwade, Kaliezjah, Jamia, Christian and Mia; great grandchildren, Jade, Adalynn, Carter, Alexa, Nazanria, Pharoah, Rael, Chanden, Corbin, and Karsyn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Ralph and Minnie Wood and Alice Howard.
